after the online-battles last week, some things came into my mind, what would be good, if addded (If not already planned):
- fixed warband-generation: As it is now (full random), I often reroll, if I don't like to composition of my warband. It would be better, if there are fixed patterns (for example 1 captain level 3, 3 of every other unit, each level 3 or 1 captain level 3, 5 of every other unit -one warrior of each level 1-5
random might be a choice, but preset should be a fixed composition. - since there are not so much battles going on, "non-progresive" should be mandatory for online-battles (at least for the current phase, there is not gameplay in progressive mode online, it only unnecessary splits the few players online in 2 parts.)
- The current battlkes last too long; I think a typical batlle should last max. 30 minutes (there might be also (a) mode(s), which take longer, but the normal battle should be faster - compare it to chess: classical match duration several hours, very rare played online, most online matches are 10-15 minutes time for each player -> max 30 minutes each match.
- (linked with point above:) There should be more game-modes (I am shore, thzere is much in pipeline ...), I would like to see: "down with the king" (you win, if enemy captain goes down), "marked spot" (a square in the middle between boith warbands is marked as target, after 10 rounds a score is generated for each warrior nearer then 10? squares to the target (on target: 10?*level, 1 square away: 9*level ...); who has most points wins. "destrucion": the warband, who caused most damage/kills after 10 rounds, wins
(Perhaps you could tell us something about planned game-modes)
