Hello,
If ranged weapons miss and hit adjecent Targets, those have no Chance to block the shot; if hit they take Damage. This means at Long distances Shooting snapshot is more likely to cause Damage then aiming (if shields are used), so I think this is not intended.
Pro: If someone aims left and shoots Right, I have lower/no Chance of dodging/blocking Conta: At maximum bow-range I don't see, if somebody aims at me or the guy next to me, but I see the arrow flying and can dodge/block if it is roughly my direction.

Hi. This is semi-intentional to counter tight formations. We might instead make a rule that only half of the unit's Cover will be used in these cases, but we left it as it is to see how much this happens in a battle. In the future, we will add a toggle ability called "Shield Up" which will add the unit's Cover value against missed shots, but will halve its Cover against direct ranged attacks.

By the way, Majo, Quick Shots are not effective against armored units, so the fact that you can use Quick Shots to miss more and have more "missed" shots hit nearby units is still a bit flawed; the unit will run out of ammo quicker, tire faster and won't be as effective if the shielded units are wearing armor.

I have not been in this forum for a long time, so sorry for me answering late: a) waiting for the future improvements to be implemented b) I also know, that I cannot kill a enemy just with (missed) snapshot, but in current battles I don't use 20 arrows (usally they end between turn 20 and 30, so I use maximum 15 arrows), but when harrassing an approaching enemy and reducing the HP of some warrior by let's say 10 might give me the edge in melee later, where every action is important (goes the enemy down this round or can he attack 2 mnore times ? goes he down after my 1st attack and I can go to another enemy to flank him ?); since in current gameplay stategic thought (arrows cost money - if I snapshot around I waste resources on strategic level for only a small advantage on tactical level) is not important I can use long range shots for my (short term) advantage.
