Hello, when analyzing the stats (1.1.5) of the Warriors, I saw, that the basques are the only tribe, where no men on foot can run faster than 5 Passus per round (goth faraguman and frakish galikakus: 7!). I guess, the playing-style of the basques should employ hit and run-tactics of slingshooters and archers, but this does not work if I am slower (the told goth and frank Units can outrun a rider, if the rider does not gallop!); I think the every day livestyle of those basque ranged fighters (hearding sheep for good cheese! / poaching?) also supports being Swift (Agility of them: 25 (galikaus: also 25; faraguman: 20). Btw.: stat-analysis (1.1.5) Shows, that basques have currently the gene-pool of all tribes in the game (on average they are best in all stats except one, where the visigoths lead) - intended ? you are basque ? Good (Attribute, where visigoths lead) ! - (Since my ancestors are franks, I co-lead in all Attributes currently required for the game ) Majo

Both melee units of the Basques, the Gestikapoinnan and the Field Leader, are Medium Infantry units, so they walk one square less than light infantry. However, they wear Medium Armor, which is a great boon to survivability. Also, their Basque Lancers are very damaging Medium Cavalry units that can cut stragglers well.
The hit-and-run comes from the archers and slingers, which can use Quick shots and run back.
The problem where you mention foot infantry outrunning cavalry should be taken a look at. Which units are this happening? Light Infantry running is 7 passus. Medium Cavalry trots at 9 passus.
Hahahha, the stat-part is not true, though, however. Both Visigoths and Basques have the roughly the same stat sum for units, HP and Stamina. Franks have on average more stats, but they also have pretty expensive units.
EDIT: Is the Galikakus walking 7 passus? This is a bug then, he should only walk 5 passus.

I noted in 1.1.5: (walk/run) Arkutasa (4/5) Akuilalzaile (4/5) Faraguman (4/7) Galikakus (6 is bug, should be 5 /7) most riders (6/9) except: Jinete (6/8) (I faraguman runs and they trot at less Speed (does not help him), Galikakus can use this for hit and run) Hundsridan (9/11) also wondering, why he is so fast since he is quite heavy, but the franks have no sub-Forum regarding the stats: Tribe Daten Basques Franks Goths Avarage STR 24,2 24,2 23,3 23,9 CON 23,3 23,3 20,8 22,5 AGI 20,0 19,2 20,0 19,7 PER 23,3 13,3 16,7 17,8 CHA 20,0 16,7 19,2 18,6 INT 15,8 14,2 15,8 15,3 WIL 20,8 20,8 20,0 20,6 LUC 11,7 11,7 13,3 12,2 (averages done with Pivot-table in Excel, if I did something wrong: Frankish origin; lowest INT of all ) Best Regards Majo

Movement range was redone in 1.1.6. But still, I've detected the Frankish Ridanmanne having less Gallop movement range than other light cavalry. Will be fixed next version.
The table you posted seems also not updated with the new version, which changed several unit stats.
