Hello,
I know that this in nothing short term, but can your engine handle the following (of Course, all would make the game more interesting if technical possible):
* Escape-Areas (makes missions like break through to Escape / Prevent Escape possible, for fleeing from combat) * height (makes hilltops strategicly important) * cover from Terrain (can I hide from arrows behind a structure / tree) * Manning Buildings/ turrets (I see it everytime on the basque Village map and think of "what could a archer do i/on the turret", might be necessary for sieges or special missions) * Destrucable Terrain (e.g. Breeches in a siege) * as a simpler Version of destructable Terrain: map changes on Events/ round Counts (for example a moses-map, where a fight takes place on a shore to be flooded or a (vandal) pirate-raid, where ship(s) Approach a shore - Defender has to guess, where the ship(s) land, attacker is Bound to the ship and can deploy, when the ship reaches the beach or plain and simple a gate of a City, which can be closed to hold off attackers)
or *is/ will be there a map-editor to create additional maps
Best regards
Majo

Hello, I know that this in nothing short term, but can your engine handle the following (of Course, all would make the game more interesting if technical possible): * Escape-Areas (makes missions like break through to Escape / Prevent Escape possible, for fleeing from combat) Yes, it's one of our major projects to make it so after a certain time, when you are looting a place, other players from enemy tribes can cut your escape and chase you, making you either loot quickly and leave or risk being waylaid. * height (makes hilltops strategicly important) There will be cliffs where you'll get accuracy and damage bonuses from shooting from above, and accuracy/damage penalties from shooting from below. * cover from Terrain (can I hide from arrows behind a structure / tree) Cover is a little difficult to implement, but its on our to-do list, at least for something basic.* Manning Buildings/ turrets (I see it everytime on the basque Village map and think of "what could a archer do i/on the turret", might be necessary for sieges or special missions) Siege engines are planned, and sieges in cities/towns. Mannable towers as well, but it requires very delicate balancing so it is not something too overpowered.* Destrucable Terrain (e.g. Breeches in a siege) Partially. There will be gates that you'll have to break to invade, or pay/find a contact to open a pathway to the inside of the city/town without passing through garrisons.* as a simpler Version of destructable Terrain: map changes on Events/ round Counts (for example a moses-map, where a fight takes place on a shore to be flooded or a (vandal) pirate-raid, where ship(s) Approach a shore - Defender has to guess, where the ship(s) land, attacker is Bound to the ship and can deploy, when the ship reaches the beach or plain and simple a gate of a City, which can be closed to hold off attackers) Naval battles are not planned, but marine invasions to land are. or *is/ will be there a map-editor to create additional maps Mod editting and map creating are not on our timelines for the next years. It's not planned nor added in our future features because of budget constraints. Obviously, if we are successful commercially, this might change, and will.Best regards Majo As before, my answers are in itallic.
