Hello, a suggestion to spice up the game: The villages to battle in seem pretty unihabited (only some sheep running around in their meadow - but I cannot shoot them ) Why not AI controlled Villagers, who start on random positions on the map (or certain spawnpoints ?). If an enemy warband appears near the village, they run to their homes, fetch arms and come out to play on the defender's side. This would make fights more asymetrical (the attacker wants to make a decisive blow, before the reenforcements arrive, while the defender wants first to delay the attacker while also trying to prevent him to pick out converted villagers one by one (just running away would not help). To compensate this, the defender would have a initial malus on his authority, that the attacker in fact has a slight advantage inj the beginning (if he would not have (or at least think so) he would not attack!) If you are planning battles with more parties (2 on 2 battles) anyway, this technically would be a application. Best Regards Majo
